The writer, the adventurer. Man of imagatination and my imagination as well: H.G. Wells.

Herbert George Wells, or H.G. Wells as he is famously known by, was an author whose imagination has sparked countless imitations of his writing, as well as numerous movies and TV shows.

I cut my writing teeth on this man.

He is also a hero of many of the stories I currently write, part of the Baker Street Universe, which focuses around Sherlock Holmes and a team mate of Jules Verne with whom he has numerous astounding adventures.

War of the Worlds: The Forever Friends

For a long time humanity appeared as if it were unchallenged and master of all they surveyed, conquering continent after continent, indigenous society after society, but things have suddenly changed.

Two young men who have become fast friends suddenly discover a mystery is happening and their fathers are in the middle of it.

Adults are suddenly called to war, with no announcement of what war.

Then ships are sunk on the Thames, but there are no enemy combatant ships in view.

Men and women start disappearing from town and city.

Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, two young men who want to become writers when they mature as adults, find themselves in the middle of a conflict straight out of their worst nightmares, as they discover the truth behind the missing ships, the sudden disappearance of their parents and enemies whose grasp of science far exceeds that of man.

A War of the Worlds is happening which shall challenge them, their friendship and humanity. Who and what will survive?
