Watson looked into the man's eyes and saw stark, raving terror. He looked to  Holmes and nodded. As one they rushed to the door. Watson kicked it open and they rushed inside.

They made it as far as the living room, then froze in horror and disgust.

Standing before them were LaGuerre and Mrs. LaCrosse, living statues. Their bodies were raked by what looked like a thousand razors. Blood oozed from the tiny slits, but didn't fall to the floor. Instead the drops froze and added to a still forming icicle of yellow ice. Their eyes could move, their lips slightly.
